Google is getting ready to launch a sub-Rs. 3,000 smartphone:

Is it possible to have a reasonable Smartphone under Rs.3000? Irrespective of the answers, Google is bounding a circle to make it possible in the upcoming years. This was brought to you by the FT.com official website, and cited that, Google wants to achieve this target over the next few years from now.

In the recent interview by Rajan Anandan, Google Managing Director India & Southeast Asia stated that, the company is very committed in developing its projects and intent to launch the most affordable Smartphones in India at the price tag anything between Rs.2000 to Rs.3000/-.

In fact at the last year Google I/O conference, it was made clear that, Google is aimed to improvise its user experience with the Android One mobiles and the same was assured by the hardware supporters, like, Karbonn, Micromax, Spice as well. Interestingly, Lava also joined the club by announcing to make the new version of the 2nd generation Android One devices and the same released a couple of months ago. But, the Android One from Lava was certainly over priced, but with a reasonable configuration indeed.

Software is More Exciting with Android One:

There is no doubt that, Android One is very familiar for its promising software updates for 2 years. But software is what makes Android One smartphones, even more enticing. These devices run stock Android (no bloatware) and get updates directly from Google instead of relying on the manufacturer and carrier, a change from the usual process that means most Android phones never receive an update.

According to the interview, Anandan stated that, Strategically [India] is very, very important. Don't get me wrong, the revenue is interesting, but [...] we're here really because 10 years from now a billion Indians will be online and when we have a billion Indians online we think that's going to make a huge difference to the global internet economy."

Bottom Line:

There is no doubt that, Google will start to roll out the most affordable smartphones through the Android One program in India and make huge business through the same.

Beware of the Facebook Account Hackers

I was checking my facebook profile last week when this message saying hackers finding new ways of hacking the accounts of the users caught my attention. So I checked my settings, reset them, changed the user id and password as per the specifications. I still wanted to find out more. So i just googled the words, facebook hacking on Google and was shocked to find out many links that provided ways to successfully hack peoples facebook accounts, boasting of a guaranteed access to other persons account.  Even to think that there are people who are very interested in viewing the details of the other person gives me a sickening feeling. And these people are most of the times on the friend’s list or acquaintance list of that person’s facebook account. This shows the level of intolerance growing among us. Even greater is the surprise to know that the hackers have so much free time to kill. The value of privacy, dignity and relationships is on a decline. Nevertheless, those of us whose a
