The 18K Rose Gold Gear S2 has the price tag of about Rs.34900/-, whilst the Platinum finished Gear S2 Smartwatch also has the same price of above variant. Interestingly, the 3rd model of Gear S2 which has the White finish comes with the standard price segment of the original S2 i.e. Rs.24300/- in India.
New Apps & Games Released with Gear S2:
Samsung has also announced few incredibly enhanced apps and games for the Gear S2 that include Uber, a sleep tracking app called G'Night, reminder specialist My Notes in Gear, along with an all-new YouTube browsing app Xenozu to its esteemed customers. In terms of games, there is a puzzle-based game called Hextris, a brain teaser themed Hangman, a classic car racing Vroom Rider Space Wars and Snake have also been announced for Gear S2. The bezel helps you in playing all these new games for the Gear S2 device.
Features of Gear S2 Smartphone:
Samsung Gear S2 and Gear S2 Classic versions were the first to launch in India at the rate of Rs 24,300 & Rs 25,800 respectively. Both the Gear S2 and the Gear S2 Classic offers 1.2 inch circular Super AMOLED made touch screen with the resolution of 360x360 pixels. Both these devices has a GHz dual core processor, with the combination of 512 MB RAM to make the system runs superfast than many other competitors. It also has 4GB internal memory, whilst the operating system is stick to Tizen OS. In terms of wireless technologies, it has WiFi (b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.1 and also the NFC for the secured payment needs.
Samsung also claimed that, the Gear S2 device will give you 2-3 days of battery backup with its 250mAh Li-ion battery for sure. It is worth making note that, these devices are built with IP68 certified Dust & Water Resistant technology. Some of the sensors built in with the Gear S2 are gyroscope, accelerometer, ambient light, heart rate monitor and barometer indeed.
