The hype towards the 4G mobile communication certainly grows among the Smartphone lovers for sure. There are several mobile models currently available in India with the option of covering 4G LTE network right from the entry level segment to the high end series. Most of the Indian Smartphone makers like, Intex, Micromax started to produce 4G capable mobile at midrange price segment. Just in order to equip the mobile to its full capacity, the network service providers started to offer their incredible 4G networks in India in recent time. Note, Airtel is the first telecommunication service provider in India to launch the 4G network, whilst the 2nd runner Vodafone initiated their 4G LTE band right from Kochi, Kerala, a couple of weeks ago.

Idea Launched 4G LTE Mobile Network in India:

Hope you know, the Idea is the 3rd largest (private) mobile communication service provider in India, which has decent subscribers under its belt. According to the official source from Idea, it gives that, Idea forayed 4G services to its beloved customers in India, which starts from 5 prime southern states accordingly.

Yes, Idea launched their 4G services in 5 southern states as, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Karnataka, Tamilnadu and Telangana indeed.

75 Towns Receives 4G Network in 1st Phase:

As Idea launched their 4G services in southern states, top 75 cities from these states could receive the 4G LTE network in the first phase of the services. Some of the major towns to receive Idea 4G are as follows, Kochi, Hosur, Kadapa, Malappuram, Madurai, Mysuru, Rajahmundry, Tiruchirappalli, Tirunelveli, Tiruppur, Vijayawada and Vishakhapatnam

Interestingly, the cities like, Guntur, Belgaum, Calicut, Cuddalore, Chitradurga, Kakinada, Kancheepuram and Trichur is expected to receive their first Idea 4G LTE service by December 31st, 2015 indeed.

Idea 4G Services Expands in 8 Circles by March 2016:

Idea is certainly gearing up its potential to expand its roaring 4G LTE services in another 8 circles in India by March 2016. Some of the anticipated markets to get the Idea 4G in early 2016 are, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Goa, Punjab, Haryana, Northeast, Odisha and Madhya Pradesh circles.

Idea 4G Could Cover 750 Cities in India:

It is said that, Idea mobile could cover its 4G LTE services in all major cities in India, which could rise its number up to 750. While addressing the press conferences, Idea Cellular managing director Himanshu Kapania stated that, “Worldwide, 4G technology is gaining widespread acceptance with global 4G subscriptions crossing the 1 billion mark. The launch of Idea 4G LTE services will further expand Idea's Wireless Broadband network and propel the brand to an even higher growth trajectory, consolidating its market position”.


Idea runs its 4G LTE services under its 1800MHz band.
