This Smartphone is currently made available only in Japan market and the expansion about the same isn’t that clear. As far as the pricing is concerned, the mobile is made available with the price tag of JPY 12800/-, which by translates gives $105. This is really affordable and definitely one of the affordable Windows 10 enabled Smartphone around the world.

With the processing segment, the mobile maker doesn’t released any words about the maker of the chipset, however, hinted that, the Katana 01 will have a quad core processor with the operating speed of 1.1GHz. This CPU is coupled to the 1GB RAM for the multitasking needs, which is also the basic requirements for the Windows 10 (mobile) operating system.

As usual the internal storage of the entry level Windows 10 mobile is gifted with 8GB internal space, whilst the expandable storage offers 32GB via MicroSD slot. Yet, the mobile isn’t very clear about the covering of 4G LTE mobile networks, neither the dual SIM slot.

Interestingly, mobile supported with the 1750mAh battery capacity, which will produce the effective needs of the users in terms of power backup. With the display department, the mobile is enabled with the average display touch screen of 4.5 inch with the resolution of just 480p. While reading the camera segment of the device, it has been enabled with the 5MP camera at the rear end along with the support LED flash for low light rear camera needs. At the Selfie end, the Katana 01 is offering its 2MP camera.


Some of the unofficial reports claim that, the Katana 02 is also “coming soon”. Here the specs table shows, it could be have at least with the midrange character. That is its internal storage will be 16GB, 2GB RAM and even 5inch display with HD resolution. However, there is no saying about the pricing and availability of this mobile.
